GrowthPhases ® Alliance announced today that it plans to produce a Lean Beyond the Factory Floor Symposium focused on Healthcare in the Second Quarter of 2010. The Symposium will be a two day Symposium and will be produced in Chicago, Illinois. The first day's agenda will be similar to the Symposium agenda set in our October, 2008 Symposium Agenda. 02-09-08 New Chairmen of Alliance Board of Advisors
Today, February 9th, 2008, Darrell W. Cronan and Leandro de Sa agreed to accept new roles in the GrowthPhases ® Alliance as Co-Chairmen of the Board of Advisors. Mr. Cronan will focus on leadership of activities of the Alliance in the Americas and Mr. de Sa will focus on leadership of activities of the Alliance in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Frank
Giannattasio is an Associated Partner of GrowthPhases.
He has also been the President of Lean Ideas
since 2002, Frank is a service provider instructing
and directing companies in their effort to practice
a Lean Culture by applying Lean Principles as
developed within the TPS (Toyota Production
System).
Prior
to Lean Ideas Giannattasio was Vice President
of Operations of The Wiremold Company 1992-2002,
responsible for manufacturing, materials management,
manufacturing engineering, and distribution
of The Wiremold Company in West Hartford, CT.
Wiremold, now part of Legrand North America,
is a leader of manufacturing and product innovation
in the wire and cable management industry. The
Wiremold Company was recipient of the prestigious
Shin go Price for Manufacturing Excellence in
1999. The complete Wiremold Lean Evolution has
been recorded in the book Better Thinking,
Better Results, by Bob Emiliani. Some
of the additional publications recognizing the
innovation and Lean results at Wiremold include
Lean Thinking, by James Womak
and Daniel Jones, Gemba Kaizen,
by Masaaki Imai, and Target Magazine,
the publication of the Association for Manufacturing
Excellence.
Proceeding Wiremold, Frank served
nineteen years in various manufacturing assignments,
having worked previously with General Motors
Corp. and Subaru- Isuzu Automotive in the areas
of materials management, metal forming, painting,
and general assembly.
Frank was a 1981 graduate of
General Motors Institute of Technology with
the degree of B.S.M.E. and achieved a degree
of M.S.M.M. from the same institution in 1990.
